These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HTB Trivia Discord bot ("the Bot"). By adding the Bot to a Discord server or participating in a trivia session run by the Bot, you agree to these Terms.
The Bot runs trivia sessions inside Discord servers: it loads questions, checks answers submitted in chat, tracks points, and displays a leaderboard. An optional companion web page may display the current leaderboard publicly.
You must be permitted to use Discord under Discord's own Terms of Service, including any minimum age requirements, to use the Bot.
You agree not to:
Server administrators are responsible for deciding whether to add the Bot to their server, for configuring which channel it operates in, and for moderating their community's use of it. Administrators may remove the Bot from their server at any time.
The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Bot at any time without notice.
Our collection and use of information in connection with the Bot is described in our Privacy Policy.
The Bot is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Bot.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Bot, or remove it from any server, at any time and for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
